I’m nearing the end of my 2nd pregnancy and I decided this time around I’m taking advantage of ALL the free samples and products. The easiest way to do this seemed to be setting up baby registries with companies that have good welcome boxes. In my first pregnancy I only used an Amazon baby registry but when I looked into it this time Walmart had just launched a new system for getting a welcome box with their registry. Reviews of how they used to do it indicated it was pretty much always sold out. When I looked this February, however, I saw they had new requirements and a new process for getting a box so I added this one to my list as well (along with Target and Babylist, both reviewed in previous blog posts).

Each of these welcome boxes does take a bit of work to get (and I know how valuable time is when you are pregnant, especially when you already have another little one at home) so I decided to share all that is included in these boxes so you can decide for yourself if it’s something you want to spend your energy doing.

The new requirements for requesting a Walmart Welcome Box are pretty simple and outlined clearly in the Walmart app once you create a registry. This is what it says:

After I did all of these steps it took a day or so but once the items I ordered from my registry had been delivered, the banner popped up on my main registry page within the app.

Then all you do is click “Get started”, verify your shipping address, and your box is on the way!

This was probably the easiest to request of all the registry boxes I reviewed. The email confirmation of my order did go to my junk folder so I didn’t see it for a few days and it said to expect the box to arrive in 2-3 weeks. I received the box about 2 weeks after requesting it.

Here’s everything that I received in my box:

Bottles / Formula

• Dr. Brown’s anti-colic 4 oz bottle
• Tommee Tippee 5 oz advanced anti-colic bottle with slow and medium flow nipples
• Enfamil Infant formula
• Kendamil infant formula sample
