Christmas Gift Guide – For Him

Christmas shopping and prep as a mom should count as an Olympic sport! It takes so much time, thought, and coordination to make sure you have everything ready to give your family the best Christmas experience possible. Coming up with creative gifts is always tricky too. To help with that I’ve compiled a list of gifts I have bought for my husband, father, brother, or father-in-law and can personally attest to. I hope this helps you check some things off your to-do list this busy holiday season! 🎅🏻

Gift Ideas

These are the gifts I picked out for different men in my family this year.

Tecovas Classic Tote This is such a beautiful tote made of waxed canvas, leather, and brass. I got it for my dad who is on the board of his local library and acting as a project manager for the new library they are building. He is regularly toting around blueprints and his iPad and I thought he needed a more sophisticated way to carry it all.

Nintendo Switch Split Pad Pro To be honest, I barely know what this is but my husband specifically requested it. Apparently the standard switch is not that comfortable to hold and this has a better grip or something… 🤷🏼‍♀️

Steam Deck This is another thing I really don’t understand but is a request from my husband. From what I know, it makes it so that he can play games he has on his computer on this portable device.

Twas the Night Before Christmas Book This is a special Barnes and Nobel edition of ‘Twas the Night before Christmas and I just thought it was so beautiful! I got it on sale after Christmas last year but right now Barnes & Nobel is having a sale so it’s currently 38% off.

Airplane Tower Wooden Puzzle I’ve gotten several of these wooden puzzle builds for my dad over the years and he always enjoys working on them. They are really good quality and look great displayed in an office or on a bookshelf once they are finished.

My dad has been traveling a lot lately so I got him a few travel related items to up his packing game.

Tecovas Toiletry Travel Kit This leather toiletry kit is so beautiful and well-made. Tecovas is my go to brand for anything leather because 1- I know everything they make will be very well done and 2- I love supporting Texas companies 🤠

Grooming Kit This is something everyone needs for travel.

Airfly Pro This seemed so cool when I saw it online! It makes it so that you can use your wireless headphones with a device that has a headphone jack- like the TVs in the back of seats on planes.

Crepe Pan My husband loves crepes and when we lived in Texas there was a crepe restaurant he loved going to. We haven’t been able to find anywhere with decent crepes up here in Michigan so I decided it was time for us to learn how to make them ourselves so that he could enjoy them again.

Crepe Recipe Book I still prefer an old school paper recipe book to finding free recipes online so this will be fun to work our way through.

Stocking Stuffers

Socks are a classic stocking stuffer. I always use them because they are inexpensive and take up some nice bulk in the stocking. I got short and tall socks for both my husband and dad.

Bombas Ankle Socks This is just such a good brand of socks! I’m slowly phasing out all my husband’s tired bargain brand sock and replacing them with these.

Tecovas Mid-Calf Socks These are great for boots so I got them for my dad who wears cowboy boots through most of the winter.

Sour Patch Kids Socks I found these at TJ Maxx and had to get them for my candy loving husband. I found a similar pair on Amazon but it’s not a multipack.

Pickleball Book We picked this out for my father-in-law who is a pickleball fanatic.

Desktop Golf I think these little desktop games are always a fun and inexpensive gift to add to a stocking.

Dobby Ornament With Countdown I can’t resist these little Harry Potter trinkets when I find them. They just make the perfect stocking stuffers or small gifts.

Christmas Dad Jokes My husband has been the king of dad jokes since before we even had kids so I know he’ll get a kick out of these. I found mine at my local HomeGoods store but found a very similar looking option on Amazon that I’ve linked above.

Mini Desk Christmas Cactus How cute is this! My husband is from Texas so the cactus is perfect for him and it’s small enough that it will fit on his desk at work.

Yeti Baseball Cap What dad or husband couldn’t use another hat? I went with Yeti for my dad to again support a Texas based company.

Bourbon Fudge I have no idea if this will taste any good but it seemed like such a fun stocking addition. It was another HomeGoods find so I can’t link it but check your local stores to see if it’s still available.

Spare Change Yes I know how weird this must sound but I am putting all the change I can find from around the house into my dad’s stocking. He collects old coins and has books of them from different years so I always leave my change with him on the off chance he finds a rare coin in it that he doesn’t yet have.

Ugg Knit Flip Faux Fur Lined Mittens My husband has been searching for gloves that actually keep his hands warm. We’ve tried several different materials and brand so hopefully these work 🤞

Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris I don’t know much about this book but David Sedaris is a comedic writer that I know from a story he tells about how Christmas is celebrated in the Netherlands (where I grew up). Both my husband and I have always found that story of his so funny and well written so when I saw this book on sale I knew I had to grab it for my husband’s stocking.

And that’s it! Hopefully some of these will give you ideas for your own family and help make the holiday season a little less stressful. Merry Christmas! 🎁
