The title says it all, 31 spooky/Halloween-ish movies – one for every day of the month of October 👻🎃💀 I planned this activity for me and my husband a few years ago when we were living apart for grad school because it was something we could do together without actually *being* together. We had FaceTime going while we watched and it was a way to connect each night. I can’t say we were perfect about getting through each and every one of these movies but it still worked as intended to give us something to do together. And it got us in the spirit of the spooky season which is my absolute favorite thing!

Now I feel the need to premise something before listing out these movies. I love Halloween… but I am also a giant chicken when it comes to scary movies so these are all incredibly mild movies with minimal to no gore. Many are children movies… but that’s what I like! Most are nostalgic from my childhood and just make me smile. There is definitely no real horror in the mix.
