This is one Halloween craft that I make over and over again every year. It’s one of my best sellers on Etsy and is a must-have for my Halloween parties. And it couldn’t be easier!

What really makes these wine glasses stand out is the black tinted glass. And I find these at the dollar store! 🤯 So you can make this craft for just a few dollars if you have a Cricut. All you need other than the glass is black permanent vinyl and transfer tape.
I have tried many different vinyls and hands down Cricut brand vinyl is the best. It is the only kind I will use now. I watch Amazon for sales and can usually get it for 40% off and stock up a few times a year.
The steps to make it are incredibly simple:
1. Start by running the glasses through the dishwasher. This removes any dirt or residue that would prevent the vinyl from sticking as well.
2. Use my template on design space and any Cricut cutting machine to cut the bats out on black Cricut Value Vinyl (previously named permanent vinyl).
3. Weed the excess vinyl away from the bats using your Cricut weeding tool.
4. Use transfer tape to place bats, one at a time, all over the wine glass. I don’t follow any specific pattern but I do like to start by spreading the larger bats somewhat evenly around the glass (staggering their heights) and then filling in with the smaller bats.

These glasses have held up in the dishwasher for me but I do recommend hand washing them for best results because the vinyl will last longer this way.
